I recently posted this in the China forum:
'Where did you go after China?'

The general consensus seems to be that nowhere is better than China in terms of pay and conditions. Some people even claimed that the savings potential is higher than in the ME!
Say it ain't so!
Am I really trapped in China? |

I feel kinda trapped.
I currently earn RMB26000/m.
That's good cash for a 4-5 day work week, divided between teaching 6 hours at uni, 8 hours teaching airline pilots and two weekends of IELTS examining.
But I'm getting tired of China, 11 years in.
I want to go, but where? |

China was good for me moneywise. But the work got extremely boring and my social life kind of hit a plateau. I couldn't imagine spending my career teaching at a Chinese university.
I'm in Spain and while the money isn't great, my lifestyle is better just by being here. |
