Dear scot47,

I read all the readers' comments - here's one:

"Craig – I’ve not seen all the reports on this – you say it’s confirmed that Downing St set up the question, and I certainly believe that, but can you point me towards this confirmation as I’d like to be able to use this further…"

Craig never provided the confirmation. Perhaps it slipped his mind. Neither did anyone else. Would you be so kind?

Regards,
John

Not until you reveal the names of those traitors in Charleston who conspired to secede from Virginia !

The Road Runner's vocabulary is restricted to "Beep! Beep! Interpret that as you will.
Popeye's unable to comment, as his mouth's full of spinach.
Monica's keeping her mouth shut. Wink

I shall seek advice from Wily Coyote, that well-known native American.

I would hesitate to consult an incompetent predator who invariably falls over a cliff in pursuit of his prey. Furthermore, he is clearly on the ACME payroll. Nevertheless, he remains my favourite Looney Tunes character; that look of resignation when he realises that gravity has got the better of him once again never fails to make me laugh.

"Incompetent predator". That is it - really. I will stop before this thread gets blocked.

Don't give up, compadre; politicians are invariably incompetent, so the Coyote's opinion is worth as much as any politico's. Added to which, he doesn't hurt anyone but himself, and makes us laugh into the bargain. He'd get my vote anytime.

The Supreme Pontiff, viz His Holiness in Rome has now expressed his comcerns about the issue.

I take my counsel from a Higher Authority than the Bishop of Rome !
