Ciao a tutti!

I am looking for work in Rome this Sept, and I was wondering if anyone on here has worked or works in the Eternal city. I am in Salerno, and I am looking to make the move this fall. I've taught ESL in the private schools for the last 4.5 years in Campania, and I'd like to give Rome a shot. I'd prefer something which offers a normal work contract and not be paid under the table like I am now. I realize this might be a clichè post but I figured this would be a good place to inquire. I'd love to work in the public schools but I don't know if I'd be subjected to the same daunting process like the rest of the public Italian school teachers.

grazie in anticipo!

I work in Italian state schools - though not in Rome. I have a contract directly with the schools, though many other teachers get this sort of work via language institutes / private training companies.

I'm not sure what part of the process you might find "daunting" - but in order to get paid, I need to provide all sorts of declarations, codice fiscale etc.
