Hi,

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of EF summer schools in The UK? I am particularly interested in the Cambridge branch.

Thanks!

You'd have to be mad to willingly work for EF.

Look here for a recent 'appraisal' of the EF summer school at Oxford last year.

Sounds awesome. Least you'll probably be able to have a couple of cans of Special Brew during lunch. Hic!

I worked at EF in 2011. I didn't think that the Oxford branch was as bad as you said (could it be because there is more than one Oxford branch, or that things have changed since 2011)? I found myself working 6 days a week, and having to commute more than I expected. So I was less happy. Having said that, I have no complaints about the actual teaching. There was less bureaucracy and less lesson prep than with some schools.
But there maybe differences between the branches, and I cannot speak for what I don't know.

I will say that I left EF feeling I had succeeded in my goals for that summer. Triumph.
