60 OR? Holy cow!! Just to change floors? Inflation in Oman it seems. When I moved my whole house in the UAE across town "in the old days," it cost me half of that for a truck and a half dozen guys for the day. LOL

Glad to hear that you are back and settled.

Me too. So glad I got them to come and do it.

And it wasn't just a matter of changing floors. The piano had to be disassembled, carried down 3 flights of narrow ridiculously slippery stairs, loaded into a van, driven to another flat nearby and then reassembled. I'm just glad neither it nor the movers were hurt in any way. I would have died if I'd gotten some friends to come help me move it and then had one of them get injured…!

Friend injured? As a fellow pianist, I'd be thinking about the piano first, but I suppose that would be rather crass... Razz
