Hello,
I'm considering retiring (semi-) in Ecuador so I've been actively searching blogs and forums because I also would like to be able to teach a few EFL courses (MAs Applied Linguistics & TESOL + 30 years ESL/EFL experience at all levels, mostly tertiary). I am currently subscribed to this blog written by Bryan and Dena Haines who live in Ecuador with their children and are well-connected with the community (including immigration attorneys who provide current info on different types of visas). At this blog scroll down to the bottom of the page to the SEARCH box and type "visas" to find answers to your questions. I'm hoping to explore in the spring. I hope this helps!

I am a teacher, and visa facilitator in Ecuador. I have been doing both for over ten years. I am happy to answer any questions you might have about teaching or visas.
