Does anybody know why the Consulate of Canada in Oman is closed?
They refer to the Embassy of Canada in Riyadh - would they help in a case of emergency? And if so, how since that's Saudi Arabia.
Please advise, where to go for help in case of an emergency. Thanks. |

There is a new consular proxy office in Ruwi, taking documents for Riyadh but not much else at present. It is in the offices of the Daud Company, 7th floor GETCO building, Ruwi, beside the CBO.

The Embassy has been in KSA for a number of years.
There is usually a Canadian working in Oman who is appointed as Warden and liaises with the Embassy. |

Dear VS,
I know you were being kind, but that "probably" really needs to be omitted.
