So I'm in the visa process for a Turkish uni job. They've emailed me the documents I need to present to the Turkish embassy. Does anyone know for sure whether I can just mail all the required documents to the Turkish consulate in NYC instead of driving all the way there to apply in person?

I've tried contacting the consulate by their two phone numbers and emails. No one ever answered, but there was one call back that immediately broke off after I emailed my phone number.
