Well, I don't post here often, but all the same I thought I'd let you all know that the events in Khobar (and others of course), have pushed me over my threshold.
I don't feel confident enough about my own and my family's security anymore. So, I'm orf! - last day of work; 30 June.

I can respect that. I hope you have a safe stay and return. |

What was your school's reaction if this was not the end date of your contract? |

The school are great about it and fully supportive; paying flights and baggage allowances.
They gave all staff the option to leave with these benefits after the Yanbu attacks earlier in the month. It wasn't until Khobar that I was sure I should cash in my chips. For me, Khobar is a helluva confincer. |
