When I was working in Indonesia, I met a guy at a New Years beach party in Bali. He runs a restaurant in Prague. He told me it's a running joke among him and his friends that English teachers in Prague are so badly paid and are viewed with sympathy.
In Indonesia, I was able to live in a tropical climate, have my own two bedroom house with domestic staff ( don't give me hard time about that, I was employing a local, and believe me, they need the money), eat out every night, take taxis everywhere and do all kinds of expensive stuff I won't mention here.
So, my question is, "Why do you put up with the crappy wages in Prague?"
Can't you see, you could have a much better lifestyle in SE Asia? Stir stir. |
