I was just freed from Yaohua recently! I would not go back even if they literally offered 30k RMB. Only 2-3 teacher renewed their contracts with the school while the rest of the 20 are walking, even with pay raises on the table.
If you are looking in Shenzhen then 19,000 is definitely attainable or at least a job that you won't feel very sad at everyday at is out there too. I recommend anyone who is looking at Shenzhen Yaohua to check out what is currently online. I imagine new things will be popping up since contracts are just now ending. Also to answer the other questions, Yaohua isn't an international school. It's more like a public school that treats it's Chinese and foreign staff very poorly all while charging the students ridiculous tuition. There is no curriculum for the foriegn teachers and no resources to use except if you count a USA first language English book that cannot be used. I feel pretty bad for the students and the parents who are footing the bill...
