Hello, I have arrived in Turkey and need to get my uni degree certified somewhere in Ankara to apply for jobs in Izmir.

I am wondering if anyone can direct me to the organisation in Ankara so I can get this process started.

Thank you and kind regards,

Yasmin

Are you sure having it translated by a sworn translator then notarized isn't enough?

Hi Dave.

No it's not enough. I need to have it certified by a Govt body in Ankara for me to be able to teach in a school setting.

I think the poster may have been told that they need to get it approved by YOK.
Can't be more helpful than that as I thought the particular school you work for gets that done as part of the work permit process

Yasemin are you a TC citizen? or a foreigner. If you are a Turkish citizen who lets say has studied abroad, you need to get a Denklik belgesi which says that your qualifacations are to the same standard as those from Turkish citizens.

If you are working here foreigner you just need to get them translated and notorized
