When are the usual Winter and Summer holidays for ESL teachers in Russia? Are there any, or do you just work the full one year contract?
Are there any week long holidays at other times of the year?
I'm asking because I would like to come home at least once during the year if get job in Russia.
What is the normal contract length? September to June? |

September until June is the usual length of contract, so that gives you a whole 3 months to have a holiday.
As far as I know, most schools give a couple of weeks off over Russian New Year. As for week long holidays during the school year, it's unlikely. There are the occasional long weekend (3 or 4 days). |
