Hey everyone,
I'm currently teaching in China and I am interested in going to Europe in the Summer of 2016 after my contract ends. I would like to teach ESL at a Summer camp in France for about a month or so, June or July of next year. If anyone knows if this idea could work please let me know! Thanks |

If you're from the UK or other EU member state, you're legal and this should be no real problem, provided you can find a summer camp gig!
If you're not from an EU country, you can't legally work in France, though so long as you are in the Schengen zone for no more than 90 days, you may be able to fly under the radar. However, keep in mind that you'd have no legal rights if your summer school didn't pay or something. |

American Village sponsors short-term work visas for their native counselors and are always in need during their season! (March-August, high season July-August)
I've seen some other iffy reviews on the forums about them, but I worked with them for four seasons and it changed my life (quite literally - met my partner and moved to Paris because of it!). Overall, I had a very positive experience with AmVil and would probably continue to do it if the money was slightly better!
