I would assume that BIS in Phuket requires QTS.
What are the other schools in Phuket and what do they require and pay? |

You will receive around 30,000 to 35,000 Thai baths every month teaching the English language to Thai/international students in Phuket...possibly more if you are lucky enough to be hired as an expat from overseas at a so called international school and not a local Falang recruit in Thighland. Competition is extremely fierce nowadays for any EFL job in Phuket due to an oversupply of westerners on the island who will work for the minimum Thai baths pushing wages down so as to extend their stay in the Tom Yam Kung sun even with those with the proper teaching licensure QTS. |
