Got to agree with dragonpiwo on that.
I've only had two Poles express anti-Brit feelings, though. One changed his mind (at least about me) after I drank him under the table, although it may have been the conversation that did it more than the 'capacity', and the other was just resolute that some of the English weren't nice to his friend in England, so the English were haters and he was going to hate us all. Work that one out ...
I recall back when I first arrived, there was some animosity from some guys, but it was more related to the unfair amount of female attention the English-speakers were getting in bars, and that just doesn't count as racism for me, just envy. |
