The 500 dirham ticket to win a car at the airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi seems like gambling to me. |

This - " . . . an “unprecedented” 4000 five-match winners means they won just £15.
People who matched three numbers in Wednesday’s draw walked away with £25 while four numbers won £51."
reminds me of W.C. Field's fictional quiz show prizes:
1st prize is a week in Philadelphia
2nd prize is 2 weeks in Philadelphia
(Philadelphia was W.C. Field's "home town," but he wasn't all that fond of the place.)

I am a teetotaller and do not smoke. I gave up pursuing women some time ago. Gambling is one of the few pleasures left to me. Lotteries are not my thing really and I much prefer the gee-gees. |
