I know I'm flitting between countries but I need a job fast and I have been offered a tentative interview for a language school in Turkey. The rate of pay is 22 TL per hour which works out at £5.20 per hour. He said you can work up to 50 hours a week though.
Is this the most you can get per hour in Turkey then? It's free accommodation an he needs teachers quickly I think. |

The questions are: Do you get permits (Residence & Work)? Are the bills included in the accommodation? How many people are you sharing with? Quality of accommodation?
22Tl is not the worst and not the best. At the very least, it could give you a base to move onto better things. |

I've been told it's a shared flat, I pay the bills and I can get 150-200 hours a month teaching. |

And yes they provide residence and work permits. I make that £780 for 150 hours a month NET. |

You can do all right making 3300 TL net (780 pounds), especially since you're not paying rent. It will be a lot of hard work, but that's normal when you're teaching at an academy. I hope the flat (apartment)'s decent.
Good luck. |
