Does anyone know if its possible to apply to work at a public school directly without using a middleman recruiter? Or does the MOE only have direct contact with recruiters?
Is there a country wide list of recruiters for public school? It seems certain recruiters only focus on a particular region.
Thanks |

Certainly.
I got my current job by putting my resume in to a school last school year. When they were looking for a teacher, they called me up and interviewed me.
Any school that hasn't filled their position will most likely go to an agency to obtain a teacher ASAP. However, I would just go to every school in your area and drop off your resume/CV.
Of course, if you aren't in country it is a little more difficult. |

Documents in hand... walk in and apply (public or private, K-12).
Public schools, largely, do NOT do digital applications because usually nobody at the school has the ability to read the responding applications (hence why they use recruiters).
That said... a white face in the office is worth 20 on-line applications.

Ok, thanks for the feedback.
I'm not in Thailand now. In that case, does anyone know of a country wide public school recruiter list? |

Most of the recruiters I've seen on a google search only recruit for Isaan. Looking for a list of country wide recruiters, other regions as well. |

If you are looking for places like Phuket, Krabi, Ko Samui and Pattaya... it is all about "boots on the ground" and you are competing with every other dreamer wanting to spend their mornings on the beach, afternoons in class and evenings in the disco.
Facebook groups are an ok way to look for jobs.
Google "ajarn" for the other job boards.
This time of year, pretty much the only thing you will find are upcountry jobs since all the beach jobs were swallowed up in April.
You are about 2 months late and $20 short.
