The HCT Men's Campus and Women's Campus seems to have some sort of a security crackdown campaign. Students and Faculty are being required to present their IDs upon entering and leaving campus. Students that leave campus before 4PM are being required to leave their ID with security. Rolling Eyes

Sounds more like merely an act of a paternalistic society and system to assert control... "we do it because we can" sort of thing.

Some campuses have stopped any "in and out" during the day, even if you "fingered out". When this scan was initially rolled out, the head of HR told everyone they could still go collect their children, run to the bank, do errands, provided that it didn't interfere with their work responsibilities. Some campuses have stopped that entirely. Others might still allow it with written permission from your line manager.

Yet another nail in the coffin of any positives for teaching at HCT
