ILA has a very corporate interview process. All the questions are the same as you'd be asked in any of their branch locations. All of it is very standardized. They're expecting you to hit certain points with each answer. For example when they ask how to increase student talk time, you need to mention pair and group work or you will lose "points" for that question.
After the interview they will total all your points to see if you passed the initial base requirements. They then weigh this point total against your personality and other factors.
I found it to be very straight forward as long as you're trained with the correct answers. They do ask for specific examples on how you would teach certain grammar points too. I believe they asked me how i would explain the present perfect verb tense and asked for some examples of activities I'd use to practice/reinforce it. |
