Hello All;
I've just heard from this school about a post in their language department, part of their program with Rutgers University. Any advice or experience about the school or city?
Thanks! |

RUNIN is in its third year here in Changchun, and we've experienced our share of growing pains. Local staff are supportive and friendly, and the fts here band together for social events. The air's better than most big cities, and winters are cold as you'd expect, though not a ton of snow. Welcome to the team! |

Is it easy to save money? What is the local cost of living?
How is the winter and how cold does it get? |

In Changchun I budget about 3k yuan/month living fairly frugally and save at least twice that, often 4x. Currently vacationing in Shandong to get away from the highs in the single-digits (F) and lows well below zero, windchills -20...and it will get colder in Jan. |
