Does anyone know if the rail service has been completed in Al Wakra?
Will this mean that it will be easier to get to Doha?

Also I am finding posts that state that Al Wakra is a boring and dull place?
Any new malls, gyms, cinemas, hotels ?

Is it true that the cost of living in Al Wakra is better than Doha?
Any good private clinics or hospitals?

Does one need a car in Al Wakra?
Any family beaches that single females can go to?

(Yes, I have done research, however, would really like to hear from anyone
who is currently living there or visited the place.)

Thanks.

Rail service has not been completed anywhere in Qatar.

Wakhra is small but has opened a Souq area along the Corniche which people have said is small but attractive.

Hotels would be 3* at best - no alcohol is available in the town. The only liquor outlet recently doubled the price on all products (including pork) except for only 70 or 80% increases on some products.

As a single female you would attract unwanted attention even on the family beach in Wakrah

You need a car or you need to use taxis, careem, uber or you can make arrangements for a private driver as needed.

There are no malls in Wakrah.

Hamad has a very good "branch" in Wakhra - this is the government medical facility.

The cost of housing is less in Wakrah
