If a 9 'working month' contract at a college were to begin immediately, when do you suppose the contract would actually end? There is non-paid summer leave. If anyone knows what dates the colleges in Saudi will be on summer vacation this year, it would help.
Would a college want to pay for a teacher to fly home and then fly back again just to finish up the remaining (couple or few) months? |

The current academic year for all colleges/universities will likely end in mid-May this year, right about the time Ramadan will begin. Any summer school session would probably start in late June 2018, after Eid al-Fitr.
You'd have to ask that particular college which 9 months you'd be contracted for and what impact Ramadan would have. |
