Hi all. So, long story short, my invitation letter and everything is ready for processing in Chengdu.

However, what interested me, is Chengdu is stating I must go to the last place *ANY* Visa was processed, to turn my paperwork into a Z Visa, and come back in.

This would be Osaka. It's listed on the official paperwork, so it appears this rule is legit...at least in my case.

I got my L in Osaka, so I'm heading back. I'm trying to contact them as I did for my L Visa, but the responses are a bit garbled.

Either way, from digging, I understand it's 4 days to process this Z. Is that right? I don't think I need express processing or anything. Giving myself 7 business days.

If anyone can advise on experience, do let me know.

Not worried about Z -> RP once I get back into Chengdu.
