Paypal is the standard Ebased system to receive salaries for eTeaching.
Can you recommend other methods for those based in America and Canada.
Can salaries be transferred to credit cards or cashed out rather than go through bank accounts ? |

That would largely depend on the country your company is in, the country you are currently resident in, the countries you have bank accounts in, and the currency you want to pull out.
While PayPal is common for many of the smaller companies the larger companies offer different options (bank transfers, transfer-wise, wechat pay, alipay, etc). Due to restrictions in the US (and on US citizens) the options there and for them are fewer than they are in Canada.

Try Transferwise, which is basically an exchange service, but a fancy one that allows you to exchange currencies at much, much better rates than through PayPal or most banks.
Cashout is still through a bank... though they've got Transferwise Mastercards available to EU customers, although not available to North American customers, but that's apparently in the works. |
