I don't know if it's training or talent, but the quality of your work is top notch.
Individually and collectively those photos are stunning.
Superb. Truly superb.

Your photos are really atmospheric. You might want to think about protecting your copyright and making sure that people can't copy or download them - just a thought- |

Thank you for the comments regarding copyright. The pics are uploaded as 'saved for web' through PS/7 so the file data is small, therefore anyone wishing to download & print them will be disappointed with the print size & quality. Sorry
I'm just pleased that people like them, and that they may provide some insight into the places discussed on this forum.

Nice work, Tp; nice work. What lens were you using for those (somewhat stunning) Indonesian shots, out of interest? |

While in Indonesia I used my Nikon FM 10 with a Tamron 70-300mm, (and an old Minolta Maxxum with a 35-70 lens). Since I've been here in China I've been using my new Nikon F80 with a SIGMA 120-400mm APO (I thinks it's 120-400 without checking it right now).
I'm looking forward to a year in Borneo starting in a few months where I can really try out the Sigma. Expect lots of Monkey Shots!

Thanks, TP. That Tamron seems quite impressive. How much was it (if you don't mind my asking)? |

Tamron was approx. $150 very light & relatively small as it scopes outwards. comes with a bayonet also. Very light compared to the more expensive $400 Sigma which weighs a ton.
I would stay clear of the 'consumer' Nikkor lenses as they aren't very well made: feel very cheap indeed - but of course Nikkor do offer great lenses if you're willing to re-mortgage your house
