I don't know anything about the school but I applied and didn't receive any answer - not even a "thanks for your interest and we'll get back to you."
Seems to be par for the course with many schools here in Germany: advertise, provide an e-mail address and request submissions, collect CVs and then don't reply to anyone.
If you've been offered a job, I hope someone can reply with feedback on what you may be facing with the job. I wish you the best of luck.
