Hi everyone!
Some questions about Teaching English in Poland.
First off, I have a BA with a English/Education major w/o Cert...this is not really a problem, right? I am an American.
1)Best cities to start. Posting for Czestochowa. Thoughts?
Already researched climate, cost, cities, etc. but now I need the straight talk from the trenches!!!
Any help would be appreciated! |

Hello:
Well, it has been a while but they usually want some sort of certification (preferably Trinity or Cambridge in TEFL). There are times when a State Teaching Certificate will suffice but not much. I was in your shoes and I went into the Peace Corps. The experience covered my student teaching for the state of California and no formail certificates were needed. The deep pockets of the federal government help out as well (if you are American) for insurance purposes etc.
That all being said, Czestohowa is a great place. The Jasan Gora is there and pilgrimages are made there 5 times a year. You could do worse!!!
Hope this helps
