Hello everyone!
There are so many options for accomodation in Madrid. Does anyone have any experiences or advice that they can share? Which is the best choice: hostal, homestay, or student share apt? I will be taking a 1 month Toefl course so Ill need to do some work at home but I also want to meet people and practice my Spainsh. Thanks for any help |

Trying not to be pedantic here, just hoping you're not enrolling on the wrong thing..
TOEFL is Test of English as a Foreign Language (or something like that) and used for people who wish to go to university in the US and need to prove their English skills.
TEFL is Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and is the type of course that most teachers here have taken.
Apuravida, please don't think I'm picking on you, but I've seen TOEFL and TEFL confused a few times on this site today...
As for your question, no, sorry, I don't know, but I've just got myself the latest Lonely Planet for Spain that has lots and lots of accommodation in it. You could also try the Thorn Tree part of the Lonely Planet website for budget accommodation info.
Good luck,
Lozwich. |
