Well i already have my pirated Pimsleur CDs so the sprechen part is covered.
Are there any good Workbooks I can use myself to learn basic written german?

For written german I suggest you start with Klipp and Klar or Vokabeltrainer by Klett. Both are good books for beginners. If you are serious about learning German then you might want to consider the computer program 'Tell me More' for German. Expensive but a good investment. |
