Hi everyone,
I'm an American hoping to go back to France in the fall to take a TEFL course and hopefully find work afterwards. I have a BA and returned from France a couple of months ago after spending the academic year as an assistant in Chalon-sur-Saone.
I'm thinking I ought to do the course in Paris (are there any offered elsewhere in France?) and am trying to decide on a school. I've already applied and been accepted to TEFL International (quick application process), but I'm leaning toward a CELTA at either ILC France or TRANSFER. Haven't yet sent those applications in.
If anyone has experience with any of these institutions and would care to share his/her opinions, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.

Hey
I did my certificate with TEFL International in Egypt... It was a good course, and I had a lot of fun. I don't know about the French course, but they all use the same material and follow the same basic lines, so I'd think it would be pretty similar.
I was considering doing CELTA too, but I thought it was too expensive... Now I know more about the whole thing, I kinda wish I'd done the 2 centre thing - it looks cool!!!
I'm now doing my diploma, but again, the DELTA was too expensive, so I went with a cheaper version...
Good luck!!!
