Hi,

I've got an interview with AEON coming up very soon. A few questions about it...

1. Dress code. Will they expect me to wear a suit for the interview? I'm guessing yes from what I've read, but if anyone knows for sure I'd appreciate it. Also, I read earlier that GEOS requires makeup for women. Do you know if AEON has that requirement as well? The suit I don't really mind, but the makeup will bug me.
Also, and yes this is getting picky but I'll ask anyway... Do they have any opinions on skirt length? Basically the same as US (just above knee is acceptable but not higher) or is it different?

2. Any sites to recommend for making up a lesson plan? I've taught before but never ESL. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And any other tips, comments etc would be great.

Thanks so much!

Definitely wear a suit for your interview. You can ask about their dress code policy at the interview. Just aim for looking as smart as you can. They won't not hire you on the basis of missing a detail of the dress code that they haven't even told you about yet. I didn't wear make-up for my GEOS interviews and I still got the job. I think this is a bit of a fiddly detail and I don't think Aeon has that policy anyway - though I'm not sure.

Regarding skirt length, GEOS specifies that between 10cm below the knee and 10cm above the knee is fine. Just use your common sense. They want to see someone who's made an effort to look professional.

Good luck
