Has anyone heard of the New Destination Education Corporation? They're advertising on university websites in the UK,
offering paid airfare, food, accommodation and �150 for 3 weeks' teaching and 1 week trip to Beijing (!).
Sounds too good to be true, but maybe they've got govt. funding...
Their information also says 'it may be necessary' to collect a �50 deposit on acceptance, and �100 on receipt of air tickets. Is this a normal thing?

It's a bit touch and go as to whether it works, but it does today.
The 'jobs' bit, I've just discovered, is to the bottom left of the main page. Any expert scrutiny would be much appreciated!

My gut feeling is that this is a SCAM ! The economics just do not add up.

It deserves boycotting because of a really vile web page.

The site is hosted in Germany for some reason. It was first registered on Feb 17th 2003, which does make one wonder how it has been working for the claimed last eight years without a web page.

It is interesting to note that he is using another name for the company than the one that appears on the web site

It is interesting that the telephone number given for the London Head Office is different than that for the owner of the domain.

I would say you are probably dealing with a wannabe organization, It may or may not have contacts in China. My advice is to arrange to see the people personally.
