The EU has put inplace VISA regulations to prevent unwanted elements from continuing to enter its countries. Most of those unwanteds have come from the Middle East and Northern Africa. Since their arrival, terrorist cells have increased. Whether or not they are the reason for the increase is neither here nor there because they are being blamed for the increase and that's really what matters. Europe has a declining population and has had one for some time. As a result, the laws were laxxed so foreign immigrants could enter and start to replace the dwindling work force. Terrorism spiked, EU panicked, and regulations stiffened. I really don't know what this has to do w/the original poster's question, but heck - I thought I'd share anyway. |
