Has anyone travelled in and around Doha? What did you see? What would you recommend?

This is a list of things to see & do. Please send constructive feedback on this list.

1) Corniche
Al-Bidda Park (art gallery, open-air theatre, shops, cafeteria)

2) Al-Koot Fort

3) Animal souq
- on Salwa Rd behind Central Markets
- where are the central markets?

4) Fishing harbour
- dhow trip to Palm Tree island

5) Doha Zoo

6) Souqs: gold souq

7) Race & equestrian club
