I need your advice. I am a female, Arab-American with a MA in TESOL degree from a U.S. university. I am not a native speaker nor do I have any EFL experience. I have two years of experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language to American students at a U.S. university. My husband, a university professor is currently considering offers from employers in Kuwait and Riyadh. He is willing to select the city where I would have the least difficulty finding EFL instructor work. Considering my lack of EFL experience and not being a native English speaker, in which of these two cities do you think I would have less difficulty finding EFL work (at the university level or school level)? Which EFL job market is more demanding and competitive? Thank you for your time. |
