I have just applied for a job for International House in Milan. Has anyone worked for them?? What's the school like? What is life in Milan like? Is the economic situation in Italy bad enough to make it difficult for language teachers to live on?

Milan is EXPENSIVE. I went there for four days and spent my entire trip budget the first afternoon! I work in Torino and need 1000 per month to just get by, you will need A LOT more in Milan, especially if you live in the city center. It has a good, reliable, fast subway system though, so you might not feel like you have to live right by the school. IHs are good schools... don't worry about that side of things.
