I'm having a hard time deciding if I should wait to get a working Visa or just get one now while I have the time. I'm reading that I will be illegal to work and won't be allowed to stay there for longer than 90 days without a working visa. Also I hear that if I get employeed that they will be able to get me a working Visa...but should I rely on that????? |

This all depends on your nationality.
I take it you're not an EU citizen?
In my experience most schools will be willing to pay you off the books for a limited amount of time under the proviso that you're sorting out temp residency/work visa-permit. However they will ot want to leave a large whole in the accounts come tax return time.
The whole process can take months but to be honest the employment laws here are in a constant state of flux and nobody seems clear on what is legal and what isn't. |
