Any one know any docs about teaching ESL? Or with characters who teach ESL? Especially with regards to Japan. How about docs on gaijins in Japan. I know of one about hostesses, but that's the only one I know.
Much appreciated if anyone knows anything |

And after you take your deep breath, try posting your questions on the Japan forum. |

Oooch. I'm smarting a bit but the point was well taken. Let's see if this is more clear.
I am a television documentary-maker and ex-ESL teacher researching a documentary about western foreigners teaching English in Japan. Part of my research is finding out what documentaries have been done before. Does anyone know of any documentaries that have been done on this topic? I am also looking for any documentaries on similar topics. ie. Western Foreigners in Japan, ESL teachers in other countries, etc etc.
I will post this on the Japan forum as well - good idea. I shan't take a deep breath though . |

Sorry--that was a bit acerbic.
There was a documentary or film made a while back called, I think, "Let's English" about ESL in Japan. Never saw it myself, but people either loved it or hated it. |

Can't find anything called "Let's English". I'm usually pretty good at researching on the internet as well. Anybody else know of a documentary called "Let's English" or something like it? Thanks to Lucy anyhow. |

I remember a while back there was a "reality tv" program on the learning channel about EFL teachers in Taiwan. I think that they may have planned to expand the show to cover other countries. Sorry I can't remember the title of the show. |
