it won't be hard to find a spanish course in buenos aires once you're there. i can't think of any specific names off the top of my head, but trust me, they are everywhere. i've talked to a few people from various programs and haven't heard any complaints.
another option would be to stay somewhere that offers spanish classes. www.hostelz.com is a GREAT resource for hostels and includes the website of each place. i was browsing through and noticed that many of the hostels in bsas offer spanish classes (sometimes they are even included). i can't comment on the quality of these classes, but they would certainly be convenient and affordable! (and if it turned out not to be what you needed, you could always find another place.)
some more "informal" options... trade english lessons for spanish lessons with an argentine... this could be a lot of fun! go to a restaurant, teach him/her how you would say things and vice versa... football games, movies, etc... you can also learn a lot from watching tv as many of the programs are in english with spanish subtitles (although this helps more if you at least have a basic understanding of the language). |
