Hi all:)

I was just wondering if anyone had heard of Al Ghurair University? I was doing a search on UAE universities and it popped up with some positions available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen the building on Sheikh Zayed Road, sandwiched between the car dealerships and the furniture stores. It's a stand-alone glass structure that could be easily confused for "Shoe Mart". I've never seen any cars, lights or any other signs of life there-perhaps they haven't opened shop yet.

I think they've been open for some time although I haven't seen any recent advertisements for their courses. It's a private university,and seems to offer courses that aren't available at other institutes in the UAE such as fashion design. Presumably it's funded by the Al Ghurair business empire. I believe they'll be moving to the new academic city eventually.
