Hi guys,
I'm hoping to go to Korea real soon, I just went for innoculations and discovered that my Hep B shot requires two months to work effectively (jabs at 0months 1month and 2months respectively).
The problem is I REALLY want to go asap as I have nothing keeping me here and i'll have to get a lousy menial job to pay for my living here. Can I get my first 2 shots and then get my last one out there? AFAIK the illness is only transmitted through sex and blood (needles etc.) so I think the risk of me catching it is slim to none.
What do you think? Also how do I register for the Korea forums? My username here doesn't work there |

Problem with Hep B vaccines is there are various different kinds on the market. The follow-up shots have to be the same or compatible with the initial ones, or else you have to start again.
I doubt very much whether Hep B will be an issue in Korea unless you plan on being sexually active as soon as you get there. The worst that could happen is that you have to pay a second time for the vaccine. |
