Hi everyone,
Im a passionate software developer, looking to move to Prague for a life changing experience. Here in the UK, house prices are stupid, and my life has come to a crossroads.
Why Prague you might ask? well, its centrally located in Europe, i last visited in New Year 2005, and loved the place. I have a Portugues friend whos wife (who is Polish), said that i shouldn't have too much problem in finding an IT job there.
Im not interested in earning loads of money anymore, been there done it, and its too much stress. Im interested in experiencing a more relaxed approach. nice people, nice environment, and culturally appealling.
I have no commitments here in the uk, no house, no wife, etc... im 31, and wish to make this transition as smooth as possible. And im prepared to do some low paid work, initially to get myself on my feet. Obviously speaking the language is also neccessary, so, im prepared to do that aswell. Im a quick learner, so the language may not be too difficult.
The Polish wife also told me that, English IT people stand a good chance in getting a job in IT, would anyone say this is true ?
I appreciate any advise, and wise words on this.
Thanks for listening.
