I read an article in the Prague Post about some language schools that have formed this association (I guess it's known as the AJS there), and was wondering what those of you currently teaching over there thought of it. Is this considered a significant organization, with schools on the list being those most reputable and desired for employment? Just curious if anyone had any thoughts....
(Some of the schools are Akcent, Prague Language Center, Ulrych, LAW, and about 10 others.) |

All of the schools you mentioned have pretty decent reputations regarding how they treat teachers. I read the article, too, and since the point of the association is to help ensure basic qualifications among teachers, the schools who belong obviously have to be relatively the better ones to work for. Otherwise, they certainly won't attract the more qualified teachers and keep them. In my opinion, this list gives some good clues as to where to start a job search in Prague. |
