I applied for a job with this add
The Meeting Point English and Spanish Institute is looking for certified and experienced ESL or EFL teachers. We offer a part-time or a full-time job with 25 hours a week with a minimum salary of US$600 (for full-timers). The accomodation is not provided, but we offer our help to find an economical homestay with a family or other options.
Does it sound good? Does anyone know about the Meeting Point? |

That works out at 3500pesos an hour (350000 a month) if you only get the minimum. That's not very much in Santiago. |

You will barely get by with US $600 in Santiago, depending on if they give you beneifits or not and what your accomodation is like. If you get the job and you decide to take it, I would definitely come to Chile with a cushion... a few thousand dollars wouldn't hurt. |
