I need some advice here...I REALLY WANT to go to Mexico to teach English (I want to improve my Spanish so I can eventually go back to graduate school and get a Masters of Bilingual Education).I have little teaching/tutoring experience but have a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in French. I have 2 1/2 years of college Spanish. I love living abroad and I love learning about different cultures and languages. I am ambitious and think I would be an enthusiastic teacher. Can anyone guide me or advise me on how to get started? Please share your knowledge!
Thank you
Brittany

Hi Brittany - I think the first and most logical step for you to take is to decide where in Mexico you want to be. Do some research on your prospective cities. Once you have a short list of possible destinations, start asking specific questions about those places. I am sure that those of us that are down here would be happy to share info. with you. |
