Sounds pretty unlikely!

If they'd wanted to arrest you, surely they had all the time! With all the real crimes going on in Italy, I'm pretty sure the plice wouldn't waste time and resources on catching alleged teachers without a visa. I mean, there are reportedly thousands of illegal immigrants in italy literally walking the streets selling illegal cigarettes and such stuff, plenty of work for the police to be getting on with there!
THere are lots of dodgy schools in Italy, but one being used as a front for the police sounds like science fiction to me!
