If you have a couple of years' experience, you should find plenty of work in reputable schools. I'm not sure if the British Council is hiring, but if you take a look at Wanted in Rome / TEFL.com website, you'll probably find a few vacancies (mainly for freelancers) coming up. Alternatively, you could mail out your CV to schools in the Yellow Pages, but some of the chain schools don't pay so well.
