Hi there
I've just completed my CELTA and had planned to move to Paris in June. (I'm fluent and have worked in Paris before for an insurance company, so know the work market a little). However, does anybody know if the language schools (like the rest of Paris!) tend to close down in July/ August? In which case I'll reluctantly postpone my move...
Also, does anybody have any knowledge of: ILIC or ICB Europe?
I hope someone can help! |

Yeah, probably not a great idea to show up then (there's work around in July but it's usually "ending stuff", and August does indeed get VERY quiet in most places). Better to shoot for just before "la Rentre", i.e. end of Aug./beginning of Sept., pound the pavement then and you're bound to turn up some work for mid Sept start-up. (However, you could use August as a good "settling in" time, to find an apt. and such.) Bonne chance! |
